Special Election Notice:  A special election will be held on May 5, 2015.  Polls open 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.  The deadline to submit applications for absentee ballot by mail is 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2nd.  The office will be open on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. 

Baker's Field Cleanup:  Port Huron Township is looking for volunteers to help clean up Baker's Field on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Lunch will be provided.  Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and rakes (if possible).

NOTICE:  Utility bill payments must be received on or before the due date to avoid incurring a 10% penalty.  Postmark will no longer be accepted.

Road Construction in Port Huron Township.  You will notice to the left a new page titled "Road Construction".  If you click on this page you will find information on upcoming road projects within Port Huron Township. 

Port Huron Township Yard Waste - the yard waste service will start on April 1, 2015 in the Township.  Yard waste should be put out at the curb by 7:00 am on trash collection day.  Customers can use paper yard waste bags or trash cans up to 35 gallons.  Trash cans require "yard waste" stickers.  Stickers are available at the Township office.  Yard waste materials include grass clippings, leaves, weeds, pruning's, garden and fruit waste, incidental dirt from edging and planting, small sticks and branches up to 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter. Bundle brush and branches that are 4 inches in diameter or less in 3 - 4 foot long bundles with string.  Please ensure bundles weight less than 50 lbs and no larger than 18 inches around.  Yard waste mixed with trash cannot be collected.  Prohibited materials - Waste Management cannot accept branches over 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter, stumps, shrubs with root balls and dirt, sand, gravel, pet waste, plastic bags with yard waste.
